Psalm 43

Send Out Your Light and Truth

1Vindicate me, O God,
and contend my case
against an unfaithful nation;
from a deceitful and unjust person
rescue me. 2For you are God, my stronghold.
Why have you rejected me?
Why do I go mourning
under the oppression of the enemy? 3Send out your light and your truth;
let them lead me.
Let them bring me
to your holy mountain
and to your dwelling places.

I Will Come to the Altar of God

4Then I will come
to the altar of God,
to God, my exceeding joy;
and I will praise you with the lyre,
O God, my God.

Hope in God

5Why are you bowed down, my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God,
for I shall again praise God,
the saving help of my face
and my God.
