Ezekiel 25

1And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2"Son of man, set your face against the Ammonites and prophesy against them. 3Say to the Ammonites, 'Hear the word of the LORD GOD: Thus says the LORD GOD: Because you said "Aha!" against my sanctuary when it was defiled, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into exile, 4therefore, I am giving you to the people of the East as a possession. They will set their camps among you and make their dwellings in your midst. They will eat your fruit and drink your milk. 5And I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and the Ammonites a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am the LORD. 6For thus says the LORD GOD: Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet and rejoiced with all the malice of your soul against the land of Israel, 7therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand against you and will give you as plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples and make you perish from the lands. I will destroy you, and you will know that I am the LORD.'"

8Thus says the LORD GOD: Because Moab and Seir said, "Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations," 9therefore, behold, I will open the shoulder of Moab from the cities, from its cities on the frontier, the glory of the country—Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim— 10to the sons of the East, along with the Ammonites, and I will give it as a possession, so that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations. 11And I will execute judgments upon Moab. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.

12Thus says the LORD GOD: Because Edom acted out of vengeance against the house of Judah and has grievously offended in taking revenge upon them, 13therefore, thus says the LORD GOD: I will stretch out my hand against Edom and will cut off humans and animals from it, and I will lay it waste; from Teman to Dedan they shall fall by the sword. 14I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel. And they shall act in Edom according to my anger and my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, declares the LORD GOD.

15Thus says the LORD GOD: Because the Philistines acted in revenge and took vengeance with malice in their souls to destroy with everlasting enmity, 16therefore, thus says the LORD GOD: Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines and will cut off the Cherethites and destroy the remnant of the seacoast. 17I will execute great vengeance upon them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I lay my vengeance upon them."
