The Day of Trumpet Blasts

1“In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no regular work. It shall be for you a day of trumpet blasts. 2You shall present a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to the LORD: one young bull, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old without defect. 3Their grain offering shall be fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for the bull, two-tenths for the ram, 4and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs; 5also one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you, 6besides the new moon burnt offering and its grain offering, and the regular burnt offering and its grain offering, with their drink offerings according to their ordinance, as a pleasing aroma, an offering by fire to the LORD.

The Day of Atonement

7“On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall humble yourselves; you shall do no work. 8You shall present a burnt offering to the LORD, a pleasing aroma: one young bull, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old; they shall be without defect. 9Their grain offering shall be fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths for the bull, two-tenths for the one ram, 10and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs; 11also one male goat as a sin offering, besides the sin offering of atonement and the regular burnt offering and its grain offering, with their drink offerings.

The Festival of Booths: First Day

12“On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no regular work, and you shall celebrate a festival to the LORD seven days. 13You shall present a burnt offering, an offering by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old; they shall be without defect. 14Their grain offering shall be fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths for each of the thirteen bulls, two-tenths for each of the two rams, 15and one-tenth for each of the fourteen lambs; 16also one male goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

Second Day

17“On the second day: twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old without defect, 18with their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs according to their number, according to the ordinance; 19also one male goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and their drink offerings.

Third Day

20“On the third day: eleven bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old without defect, 21with their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs according to their number, according to the ordinance; 22also one male goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

Fourth Day

23“On the fourth day: ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old without defect, 24with their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs according to their number, according to the ordinance; 25also one male goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

Fifth Day

26“On the fifth day: nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old without defect, 27with their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs according to their number, according to the ordinance; 28also one male goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

Sixth Day

29“On the sixth day: eight bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old without defect, 30with their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs according to their number, according to the ordinance; 31also one male goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offerings.

Seventh Day

32“On the seventh day: seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old without defect, 33with their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs according to their number, according to their ordinance; 34also one male goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

The Eighth Day

35“On the eighth day you shall have a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work. 36You shall present a burnt offering, an offering by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD: one bull, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old without defect, 37with their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bull, the ram, and the lambs according to their number, according to the ordinance; 38also one male goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

These Offerings Are in Addition to Vows and Freewill Offerings

39“These you shall offer to the LORD at your appointed festivals, besides your vow offerings and freewill offerings, whether your burnt offerings, grain offerings, drink offerings, or sacrifices of well-being.” 40Moses spoke to the Israelites according to all that the LORD commanded Moses.
