Isaiah 12

A Song of Thanksgiving

1On that day you will say:
“I thank you, LORD.
Though you were angry with me,
your anger turned away, and you comforted me. 2Look, God is my salvation!
I will trust and not be afraid.
For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song;
he has become my salvation.” 3With joy you will draw water
from the springs of salvation. 4On that day you will say:
“Thank the LORD; call on his name.
Make his deeds known among the peoples;
proclaim that his name is exalted.

5Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things.
Let this be known throughout the earth. 6Shout and sing for joy, you who dwell in Zion!
Great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”
