Ezekiel 46
Thus says the LORD GOD: The gate of the inner court that faces east shall be closed during the six working days, but on the Sabbath day it shall be opened, and on the day of the new moon it shall be opened. The prince shall enter by way of the gate's vestibule from outside and stand by the doorpost of the gate. The priests shall offer his burnt offering and his well-being offerings, and he shall bow down at the threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be closed until evening. The people of the land shall bow down at the entrance of that gate before the LORD on the Sabbaths and new moons.
The burnt offering that the prince presents to the LORD on the Sabbath day shall be six unblemished lambs and an unblemished ram. The grain offering shall be an ephah for the ram, and for the lambs a grain offering as much as he is able to give, with a hin of oil for each ephah. On the day of the new moon, it shall be an unblemished young bull from the herd, six lambs, and a ram; they shall be unblemished. He shall provide an ephah as a grain offering for the bull and an ephah for the ram, and for the lambs as much as he is able to give, with a hin of oil for each ephah.
When the prince enters, he shall enter by way of the gate's vestibule, and he shall go out by the same way. When the people of the land come before the LORD at the appointed times, whoever enters by way of the north gate to bow down shall go out by way of the south gate; and whoever enters by way of the south gate shall go out by way of the north gate. No one shall return by way of the gate through which they entered, but shall go out straight ahead. The prince shall be among them: when they enter, he shall enter; and when they go out, they shall go out.
At the festivals and appointed times, the grain offering shall be an ephah for the bull and an ephah for the ram, and for the lambs as much as he is able to give, with a hin of oil for each ephah. When the prince provides a voluntary burnt offering or voluntary well-being offerings to the LORD, the gate that faces east shall be opened for him. He shall provide his burnt offering and his well-being offerings just as he does on the Sabbath day. Then he shall go out, and the gate shall be closed after he has gone out.
You shall provide an unblemished lamb a year old as a daily burnt offering to the LORD. Every morning you shall provide it. You shall provide with it a grain offering every morning: one-sixth of an ephah, with one-third of a hin of oil to moisten the choice flour. This is a grain offering to the LORD, a permanent statute, continually. They shall provide the lamb, the grain offering, and the oil every morning as a continual burnt offering.
Thus says the LORD GOD: If the prince gives a gift to any of his children, it is his inheritance; it shall belong to his children. It is their possession by inheritance. But if he gives a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, it shall belong to that servant until the year of release; then it shall return to the prince. Only his inheritance belonging to his children shall remain theirs. The prince shall not take any of the people's inheritance, driving them from their possession. He shall give his children an inheritance from his own possession, so that none of my people may be scattered, each from their possession.
Then he brought me through the entrance beside the gate to the holy chambers for the priests, which faced north; and there was a place at the far end, toward the west. He said to me, “This is the place where the priests shall boil the guilt offering and the sin offering, and bake the grain offering, so that they do not bring them out into the outer court and thereby make the people holy.”
Then he brought me out into the outer court and led me past the four corners of the court. There was a court in each corner of the court, a court in each corner. In the four corners of the court were enclosed courts, forty long and thirty wide. The four were all the same size, enclosed at the corners. There was a row of masonry around them, around all four; and places for boiling were made beneath the rows all around. He said to me, “These are the cooking places where the servants of the house shall boil the sacrifices of the people.”
