Ephesians 1

A Prayer for Wisdom and Hope

For this reason, because I have heard about your trust in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the holy ones, I do not stop giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, so that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing him, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, so that you may know the hope of his calling, the riches of the glory of his inheritance among the holy ones, and the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who trust, according to the working of his mighty strength. He worked this power in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above every ruler, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. He put everything under his feet and gave him as head over everything to the church, which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills everything in every way.
