The road back to Judah

But Ruth said, “Do not press me to leave you and turn back from following you. Wherever you go, I will go. Wherever you spend the night, I will spend the night. Your people will be my people, and your God my God. Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD do this to me, and more besides, if anything but death separates you and me.”

When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped trying to persuade her.
