God Is Our Refuge
God is our refuge and strength,
a help in troubles, very near at hand.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains topple into the heart of the seas;
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its surging. Selah
A River for the City of God
There is a river whose streams gladden the city of God,
the holy dwelling of the Most High.
God is in her midst; she will not be shaken;
God will help her at the break of morning.
The nations were in uproar, the kingdoms tottered;
he lifted his voice—the earth melts.
The LORD of Hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah
Come and See
Come, behold the works of the LORD,
who has set desolations on the earth—
making wars cease to the end of the earth,
breaking the bow and shattering the spear,
burning the chariots with fire.
“Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
