Deliver Me from Lying Lips

In my distress I called to the LORD,
and the LORD answered me. O LORD, deliver my soul
from lying lips,
from a deceitful tongue. What will be given to you,
and what more will be done to you,
you deceitful tongue? Sharp arrows of a warrior,
with glowing coals of broom wood.

I Am for Peace

Woe to me, that I sojourn in Meshech,
that I dwell among the tents of Kedar! Too long has my soul dwelt
with people who hate peace. I am for peace;
but when I speak,
they are for war.
