Psalm 101

I Will Walk with Integrity

1I will sing of steadfast love and justice;
to you, O LORD, I will make music. 2I will attend to the way of integrity.
When will you come to me?
I will walk with integrity of heart
within my house. 3I will set no worthless thing before my eyes.
I hate the work of those who fall away;
it shall not cling to me. 4A crooked heart shall be far from me;
I will know nothing of evil.

My Eyes Will Be on the Faithful

5Whoever secretly slanders a neighbor, I will silence;
one with haughty eyes and a proud heart I will not endure. 6My eyes will be on the faithful of the land,
that they may dwell with me.
Whoever walks in the way of integrity
shall minister to me. 7No one who practices deceit shall dwell within my house;
no one who speaks lies shall stand before my eyes. 8Morning by morning I will silence all the wicked of the land,
cutting off from the city of the LORD
all who do evil.
