A season, not a stage
The Seasons of Shalom are recurring practices rather than a linear program. A community may inhabit more than one season at the same time, and may return to a season whenever faithful life requires it.
The practice
Practice curiosity and theological imagination so that the community can recognize possibilities not visible from within old assumptions.
Use the framework as discernment.
The work is not to move forward as quickly as possible, but to notice which practices are needed now and to inhabit them faithfully.
