A season, not a stage
The Seasons of Shalom are recurring practices rather than a linear program. A community may inhabit more than one season at the same time, and may return to a season whenever faithful life requires it.
The practice
Attend carefully to the life of the community, the world around it, and the movement of God before rushing to diagnosis or solution.
Use the framework as discernment.
The work is not to move forward as quickly as possible, but to notice which practices are needed now and to inhabit them faithfully.
